Hi! All my friends have had their periods and talk about how lucky I am I haven't started yet! But I'm not sure if something is wrong with me because I have hair under my arms and on my vaginal area, I'm also growing breasts but no sign of my period, HELP!?! Is there something wrong with me?

Thanks for your note to FEMINIST.COM. I think that I would second what all of your friends are saying--you are lucky to have had your period come later rather than earlier. However, I do understand your concern. I have many friends who didn't get their periods until they were 16. To put your mind at ease I recommend that you go to your doctor. I'm sure there is a Planned Parenthood in your area and they are a great resource. Good luck.
