Women's Syndrome is a pretty
dated term, though it is still
used today. Essentially it was
pre-consciousness about the
prevalence and really existence
of domestic violence -- it was
an attempt to blame the battered
woman, and that certainly still

has always done groundbreaking
work in reporting on this area.
