Violence

Hello! I am trying to find grant money for our Domestic Violence program located in Chicago. Do you know of any organizations/foundations that may help us? Thank you, Jill, The Women's Counseling Center

Thanks for your note and for working to end Domestic Violence. There are a few national foundations you might want to try: The Ms. Foundation for Women - #212-742-2300, which has awarded many grants to help end domestic violence through their general grants and through their "safety circle" funding circle. There is also the Sister Fund based in NYC - #212-260-4446. There is also a local women's foundation in Chicago that awards grants to projects in that area. To find out about this foundation and about others in your area, contact the Women's Funding Network, based in St. Paul, Minnesota - #612-227-1911. Thanks and good luck.
