Hello there! Wow. What a great site you have. You do an excellent job of keeping it fresh and up-to-date. Much better than most on the web. Perhaps I missed it, but I was looking for a raw number of how many universities have women's studies programs. Is that number handy? Thanks and best wishes. -- Denise

Thanks for your note and for all of your "words of praise." They are much appreciated from all of us here at FEMINIST.COM.

As for women's studies departments - I have seen that number referenced somewhere...hmmm...For starters, I would contact the Barnard Center for Research on Women (c/o Barnard College/Columbia University, New York, New York). I would also try the American Association of University Women (1111 16th Street, NW; Washington, DC 20036; 202-785-7700).

Good luck and if you find this, please let me know--thanks.

Amy
