I am currently writing a paper on feminist women in the sex industry, but I have not been able to find much information on the subject. I have found one useful book entitled Whores and Other Feminists by Jill Nagle. Do you know of any other resources that explore this subject? Or do you have any information on women that work in the sex industry and feel that it has empowered them?

Thanks for doing a paper on women in the sex industry and for hopefully demystifying this profession a bit. A couple of resources to help you:

1.) a group in Portland, Oregon called Danzine, which is a zine made and distributed by a woman, Theresa Dulce, who wanted to inform fellow strippers about the need for safe sex, health care, empowerment, etc...

2.) In the January 2000 issue of the zine BITCH there were a couple of articles by/about sex workers and several resources listed throughout.
