Girls/ Children

I have written a children's book supporting the equality of women. However, although many publishers are looking for books with ethnic diversity, this one seems to be outside what mainstream publishers are looking for. Are there publishers amenable to books helping young girls deal with discrimination? - Susanna

There are two great presses that I recommend you contact:

1.) Girl Press, started by a woman named Pam Nelson and based in Los Angeles. She started the press because she noticed that there weren't many girl friendly books/presses.

2.) The Feminist Press--based in New York City and housed at CUNY (The City University of New York)--has an entire division of children's books.
