I am planning to teach Junior High/High School next year--do you have any resources or information you could share/recommend? Thanks! - Doug

Thanks for your note and for making sure that students learn the real facts about life--not one limited by gender, race, economic circumstance, etc....

The Ms. Foundation for Women has put together a curriculum guide for Take Our Daughters to Work. This is aimed at the boys who stay at school and don't make it to work. You can request this curriculum from the Ms. Foundation at: 120 Wall Street, 33rd Floor, New York, New York 10005.

There was also some good curriculum put together by gay and lesbian groups in response to the need for what has come to be called "the Rainbow Curriculum." For more information about this, I would contact the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force--based in Washington, DC. Good luck.
