Dear Amy,

I am currently working on a research paper for my Women's Studies class. My topic is: “Why is the color pink associated with women?” I have to have sources for my paper, but so far I can only find internet sources, and I have to have some literary/book sources.

I found out that before WWII, pink was associated with boys and blue with girls, so I'd like to find a book that discussed that more. Do you have any ideas on a few books that I could use for my sources? I'd greatly appreciate it!

Thanks!

Kirkley

Dear Kirkley,

First of all, what a great name! Second, there is a great book by Lynn Peril, Pink Think, which has tons of information for you. Access the book or just research more about her, she has written about this tons.

Good luck

- Amy
