Hi,
I am writing a paper on jewish
women and housework from an
older and younger generation
approach. If you could direct
me to where I could find some
information, I would greatly
appreciate it.
Thanks, Desiree

Thanks
for your note to FEMINIST.COM--wow,
requests don't get much more
specific than yours. I think
that books with a jewish focus
might be a good place to start,
though there is no guarantee
that housework will be indexed.
For instance, there is Jewish Women/Jewish Men: The Legacy of Patriarchy in Jewish Life by Aviva
Cantor and The Journey Home: Jewish Women and the American Century by Joyce Antler--but
you will have to dig. Also,
you should try The Forward,
a New York City based newspaper
and Lilith, a jewish
women's magazine.
