I just saw on the news, that Italian judges have ruled: a woman wearing jeans cannot be raped. I do not know of any Italian women's rights organizations, or I would have passed this to them; if pulling pants off is by their definition consensual...Maybe some Italian women might try "pantsing" judges in public. It must be legal...right? William

I, too, saw that newspaper article about "a woman wearing jeans cannot be raped." I know some people are trying to lobby Levi Strauss, to speak out against this fallacy. Hopefully, the US women's groups initiating these efforts can reach their Italian counterparts. My fingers are crossed.
