Hi.
I am beginning my doctoral dissertation/project
this term. My focus is going
to be on teen girls who have
been date raped. I am trying
to get information, resources,
etc. for this as I put together
my proposal and literature review.
Any suggestions/information/resources/referrals
that you might have or be aware
of would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time, Rachel

Thanks
for your note to FEMINIST.COM
--and mostly for educating people
about the reality and prevalence
of date rape.
A few sources I suggest you
reference:
-
The FBI, which has recently
conducted studies on this.
Also, a local police station
might have information.
- The
Wellsley Center for Research
on Women at Wellesley
College, Wellesley, MA--and
maybe the American
Association of University
Women, which is based
in Washington, DC.
- Robin
Warshaw's I Never
Called it Rape.
-
Since your focus is teenagers,
you might try "girl-focused"
groups such as: Girls,
Inc. (their national office
is in NYC); Teen
Voices Magazine (based
in Boston).
