As a Cross-Cultural Solutions international volunteer, you're making a meaningful contribution, working side-by-side with local people and sharing in the goals of a community that warmly welcomes you. You're experiencing another culture like never before and really getting to know its people.

You'll gain new perspectives and insight into the culture and yourself. It's an exciting and personally inspiring experience, and you'll develop memories that will be with you forever.

Enjoy the flexibility of choosing from 12 countries, start dates year-round and programs from 1-12 weeks long. CCS offers international volunteer programs in Brazil, China, Costa Rica, Ghana, Guatemala, India, Morocco, Peru, Russia, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand. Wherever you choose, our in-country staff welcomes you to the CCS Home-Base, your home away from home.

Whether volunteers are looking for a meaningful holiday alternative, or a unique way to gain work experience, this could be the opportunity they've been searching for. Participants can choose from Volunteer Abroad, Intern Abroad, or Insight Abroad programs. CCS in-country staff will welcome them to the CCS Home-Base and ensure that all needs are met – from safety and lodging to perspectives and insight about the local culture.

Cross-Cultural Solutions is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1995 and headquartered in New Rochelle, New York, USA, and is also a registered charity with staff in the United Kingdom. To date, the organization has brought over 10,000 participants to countries around the world. Cross-Cultural Solutions has been profiled in more than 500 news outlets, including Time, Newsweek, Travel + Leisure, The Today Show, USA Today, The New York Times, National Geographic Traveler, the San Francisco Chronicle, CNN, and the ABC Nightly News. The organization is a leader in the international volunteer field, sending thousands of volunteers overseas every year. CCS is in Special Consultative Status with the United Nations and in partnership with CARE, one of the world's largest international humanitarian organizations. CCS was also integral in coordinating volunteers for the World Trade Center relief efforts after September 11, 2001.
