About the Washington Feminist Faxnet

After almost ten years as the Washington Feminist Faxnet and then Women's Action Connectiv, we are signing off as a feminist action newsletter -- although we may very occasionally send an alert we can't resist. Many changes have taken place since we began, most notably the internet and the proliferation of e-mail newsletters. So even without WAC!, the activist ground will be well covered. Some great examples of alert lists you can join can be found here at feminist.com, feminist.org., and wowonline.org. Women's e-news (womensenews.org) is a fantastic source of daily info and opinion not found in the mainstream press. (Other women's news sites are featured in the "Feminist.com Recommends" Box on the main News page.)

It's been a good ride, and we are proud of the activism we have fostered, the change we have made, and the occasional hell we have raised. We sincerely thank all of you who have supported us over the years with your activism and your contributions. We urge our readers to stay involved and keep on "dancin' at the revolution."
