unfortunately (or fortunately)
the nature of our organization
prevents us from taking stands
on such issues. Personally,
I think that the impeachment
hearings are a right-wing tactic
to get Clinton out of office--and
thus to eliminate everything
that is potentially coming from
Clinton in the next session
(better social security, Violence
Against Women Act II, pro-choice
legislation....) I think that
what Clinton did is not grounds
for impeachment. At this point
Starr and the Media should be
on trial. For more on want I
think, I suggest that you read
an article I wrote in The
Nation magazine, "In
Defense of Monica".
